Hubert turned to Ascentic as they needed to start scaling their development team during the early stages of their journey. The requirements for the product had grown with the amount of onboarded customers, and there was a solid backlog of improvements, integrations, and new features to get developed. Through reference they turned to Ascentic, still not sure if an offshore team was the right approach for them, but willing to give it a try. As a scaleup company, the Hubert team needs all their team members to be engaged, contributing with ideas, and helping to refine the product from different perspectives. They need to be able to work closely with their team members from requirements to design to development, in a highly agile approach as their business needs are likely to change frequently.
Today the team consists of 3 developers and a part-time designer. The scope of work has included everything from bug fixing and improvements, to design and development of new features, modules, and integrations. The Extended Team from Ascentic works closely with the CPO and Product Owner, CTO, and main developers from Hubert’s inhouse team. Having been positively surprised about the amount of engagement, additional knowledge, and ideas that the team has contributed with, Hubert today sees their Extended Team members as an integral part of their crew and an important component in their growth strategy ahead.
